INTRO TO HERDING SEMINAR

THIS IS A FUN, SAFE AND EXCITING WAY TO SEE WHAT THE "HERDING" IN YOUR DOG'S PSYCHE IS ALL ABOUT. If your dog is gathering the dogs in the park, rounding up the kids in the pool, stalking your cats and wanting to catch the kids on the bikes, he is probably "herding".
This two-part seminar consists of a herding evaluation: you, your dog and the tester are in the pen with three sheep. Your dog is encouraged to "chase" the sheep and the tester makes sure no harm is incurred while gently changing the chase to "herding" behavior.
Second: after the testing, YOU are given a mini-first lesson to experience what it is like to really WORK a dog and become a team!!
