TERRY FOLSOM & BLAZIN' QUIN
In only our fourth USBCHA Open run together, Blazin' Quin placed 2nd out of 65 dogs in the first round of the 2013 Dunnigan Hills trial. Anne Mock of Plymouth, CA, (left) judged.
Quin is a granddaughter of my Blazin' Cassie, a highly competitive and successful trial dog for me for nearly eight years before her retirement at age 12. Both Cassie and Quin were bred, raised, trained, and handled up through their respective USBCHA National Nursery Finals appearances by Terry Parrish, and both go in a direct maternal line back to Terry's original Blaze, for whom Blazin' Border Collies is named.
I have been working with Terry since 1993. Her ability to match me with the right dog as she has taught me to be a better handler has been proven time and again, beginning in 1996 when I bought Babs, followed by Sweep (2000), and Cassie (2004). Quin is the fourth dog Terry has chosen for me, and I am looking forward to our trials career together.
